The Basics

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Kuddle, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.
2. Account Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.
You're responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account and password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
3. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use Kuddle for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Scrape, copy, or reverse engineer our software
- Use automated systems (bots) without permission
4. Subscription & Billing
Free Trial: New users get a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required.
Paid Plans: After your trial, choose between monthly ($4.90/mo) or yearly ($49/yr) subscriptions. All plans auto-renew unless canceled.
Refunds: We offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. After 30 days, no refunds, but you can cancel anytime to stop future billing.
Cancellation: Cancel anytime from your account settings. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
5. Your Data & Ownership
You own your data. All baby logs, photos, notes, and growth data you enter into Kuddle belong to you, not us.
You grant us a limited license to:
- Store and process your data to provide Kuddle's services
- Create anonymized, aggregated analytics (e.g., "average sleep time for 3-month-olds")
- Generate AI insights specific to your baby
You can export or delete your data anytime.
6. Intellectual Property
Kuddle's software, design, branding, and content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of Kuddle without our written permission.
7. AI & Medical Disclaimer
⚠️ Kuddle is NOT a medical device or substitute for professional medical advice.
Our AI chat provides general parenting information based on WHO guidelines and research, but it cannot diagnose medical conditions or replace your pediatrician.
Always consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns about your baby.
8. Limitation of Liability
Kuddle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Lost data (though we back up regularly)
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Decisions made based on AI insights
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
9. Termination
You can delete your account anytime from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination, your subscription stops, but you can request a data export within 30 days before permanent deletion.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify you via email for significant changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in San Francisco, California.
